Apartment removalists Burwood
The lift, the dock, the minute.
Most of Burwood lives in a building with rules, and we like the rules. The lift gets booked, the dock window gets confirmed, the building manager gets their paperwork, and the move runs like it was timetabled. Because it was.
The three things that decide a tower move
- The lift booking. We confirm it before we quote the hours. If it isn't booked yet, we tell you exactly what to ask your building manager for.
- The dock window. Height limit, entry point, time window. We work to the building's numbers, and we hold them.
- The paperwork. Many buildings want notice or documents from your removalist before the crew is allowed in. Forward whatever your manager sends and we square it away before the day.
The standard for studios through two-beds. A very full three-bed apartment usually wants the house crew at $350 an hour, and we'll say so on the callback, not on the invoice.
Honest arithmetic: a lift-served two-bed with the dock booked commonly runs 3 to 4 hours door to door. Walk-ups run longer; that's stairs, not padding. We'll give you our read on your hours before anything is booked.
What "run to the minute" looks like
Every building differs, so this is the shape, not a promise for yours: a lift-served two-bed with a booked morning window.
| Window | What's happening |
|---|---|
| 7:00–7:15 | Truck on the dock, lift padded, doors and corners protected |
| 7:15–8:30 | Cartons and furniture down in planned lift runs, heaviest first |
| 8:30–9:00 | Load checked and strapped, lift unhooded, dock handed back on time |
| from 9:00 | Across the corridor and up the other lift, same order in reverse |
Illustrative timings for a common building setup, not a quote. Your building's windows set the real clock.
Walk-ups, sublets and the small print of unit life
No lift is not a problem, it is arithmetic: we count the flights and bring the crew that makes them disappear. Older three-storey walk-ups around Croydon and Ashfield are half our week.
Renting means a bond, and a bond means the building goes back the way it was found. Padding on the lift, ply on tight corners where they're fragile, and nothing dragged.
