Privacy, in plain words

This page describes what this website collects and what happens to it. It's short because the practice is simple.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email if you give one, the suburbs involved, your preferred timing and whatever you tell us about the move. If you arrive at the form from the Measure-Up, the answers you chose there are placed into the visible message box, where you can edit or delete them before sending.

Why we collect it

For one purpose: to call you back about your move and give you a quote. We don't build marketing profiles and we don't send newsletters.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is seen by the people who arrange and perform moving work. We may share your enquiry with a suitable local provider to service your request; that is the whole distribution list. We don't sell enquiries and we don't pass them to advertisers.

What the site itself records

Page-view counting happens on the server and records the page viewed and the country of the visit, not who you are. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking scripts on this site. The date-based helper on the packing timeline guide runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.

Spam, and how we filter it

The form carries one hidden decoy field. You'll never see it, but crude bots fill in every field they find, so anything that lands in the decoy is binned unread. Real enquiries pass straight through, with no puzzles to solve on the way.

Storage and retention

Enquiries are stored securely so we can act on them and answer follow-up questions about a job. If you'd like an enquiry corrected or removed, say so through the enquiry form and it will be done.

Asking about your details

The enquiry form is the contact channel: send a message saying what you'd like to know or have changed, with the name and phone number the original enquiry used so we can find it.
